[AB#7] Ways of Seeing, John Berger

Ways of Seeing contains arguments about theory and explores the gap between how we associate art with words. John Berger organises thoughts through several different essays containing words and images. I chose this book because it contributes to the understanding the language of images. Ways of Seeing forces viewers to question why things are seen the way they are, as well as stir up perception of what is being portrayed. I consider this to be a great read because Berger uses a series of essays and images to promote a new approach toward understanding the language of images.
